Welcome to the Three Horse Ranch!

We are located 12 miles northwest of Helena, Montana.

We breed, raise and train performance-bred APHA and AQHA horses each year. Our goal is to develop well-rounded athletic horses with cow sense and good minds. We also breed and raise Miniature Donkeys. We have a small operation, but it is growing all of the time.

Our mares and foals are out of some of the best bloodlines in the reining, cutting and cowhorse worlds including; Color Me Smart, Colonel Freckles, Cutter Bill, Shining Spark, Smart Chic Olena, Real Gun, Like A Diamond, Peponita, Poco Bueno and Ris Key Business.

Turnkey horse ranch with approximately 500-acres, 315 of which are deeded. Adjacent to BLM and a large cattle ranch within ¼ mile of Helena National Forest. The ranch road crosses ½ mile of BLM property, which is leased by the ranch and then becomes private to the ranch house another ½ mile. Approximately 370-acres of pasture & 130-acres of forest/timber intermixed with aspen draws. The ranch includes a 2,000 square foot log home as well as a _-square foot guesthouse. It has been cross-fenced into 3 corrals with associated pasture areas, each equipped with it’s own automatic waterer. The barn contains hay storage area, garage area for equipment, two loafing sheds and one shed that is convertible to a double stall that was used for foaling.
